Welcome to Saga Universal Training Corp.
Over 25 years of experience training workers goes into Saga Universal Training Corp. training courses. We provide high-quality training courses to help the workforce meet their Occupational Health & Safety requirements. Our courses are designed using the principles of adult education and follow the highest standards in the land. Our goal is to make worker training flexible, convenient and inexpensive.
In most cases there are two parts to a Saga training course: 1) the theory and exam portion and, 2) a skills assessment.
Once an end-user successfully completes the theory and exam portion online, a certificate is automatically sent to the end-user’s e-mail address. If a skills assessment has been completed, another certificate recognizing success in both portions will be issued directly to the end-user’s e-mail address.
Depending on the needs of the end-user, a Training Partner can deliver training to their end-users in a variety of formats:
Physical format, in the physical training format the learner takes their training, both the theory and exam portion and any practical skills assessment, in person with a Saga Training Partner. In many cases, training can be offered to a group at the group’s location or at the Training Partners location.
Virtual format, using your computer or smart device in the comfort of your home or workplace, the learner takes their theory and exam portion of the training interactively with a Saga Training Partner over the internet.
Where a skills assessment is warranted, the end-user can then either book an appointment with a Saga Training Partner near them, or possibly have a company designate perform the skills assessment at their own facility, using their own equipment, on their own time.
Blended format – this format has the end-user taking the theory and exam online at their own pace through the internet on the Saga website, and then demonstrates their skills where warranted, to a Saga Training Partner afterwards.
Online – the Online format is the same as the Blended format except that the end-user’s training course does not warrant a skills assessment, the employer chooses not to perform a skills assessment, or the employer chooses to use their own skills assessment.
